Cookie Policy

This page explains what cookies are, which ones we use on the Mutiara Adil website, and how you can manage your preferences. We have kept the language as plain as possible.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device (computer, phone, or tablet) when you visit. They are stored in your browser and allow the website to recognise your device on future visits.

Cookies serve several purposes: some are necessary to make a website work properly, while others help website owners understand how visitors use their site, or remember your preferences so you do not have to re-enter them each time.

Cookies cannot run programs or carry viruses. They are not harmful, but you do have the right to manage which ones you allow.

2. Cookies We Use

Essential Cookies

Always active — cannot be disabled

These cookies are required for the website to function. Without them, the site cannot operate correctly. They do not collect personal information.

  • Cookie consent preference (so we do not ask you every time)
  • Session security tokens
  • Basic site functionality states

Duration: Session or up to 12 months (for consent record)

Analytics Cookies

Optional

These cookies help us understand how visitors interact with our website — for example, which pages are visited most often and whether any errors occur. This information is aggregated and anonymous.

  • Google Analytics (page views, session duration, referral source)
  • Error tracking and performance monitoring

Duration: Up to 2 years

Marketing Cookies

Optional

These cookies may be used to show you relevant information about our services on other platforms, and to measure how effective our communications are.

  • Advertising network tracking (Google Ads, Meta)
  • Conversion measurement for outreach campaigns

Duration: Up to 90 days

Preference Cookies

Optional

These cookies remember settings you have chosen — such as your preferred language or region — so the website can tailor its behaviour on your next visit.

  • Language or region selection
  • UI display settings

Duration: Up to 12 months

3. Your Cookie Preferences

Use the toggles above, or the buttons below, to set your preferences. Your choices are saved to your browser and applied immediately.

4. Third-Party Cookies

Some cookies on our site are set by third-party services we use. These third parties have their own privacy and cookie policies, which we encourage you to review:

We do not control how these third parties use their cookies. Disabling marketing cookies in your preferences above will reduce (but may not fully eliminate) third-party tracking.

5. Cookie Duration

Cookies fall into two broad categories by duration:

  • Session cookies — exist only for the duration of your browser session. They are deleted automatically when you close your browser. We use these for temporary security states.
  • Persistent cookies — remain on your device for a set period (ranging from 90 days to 2 years, depending on type). They allow the site to remember your preferences across visits. The durations for each category are noted in Section 2 above.
